2022 Inside the Bottle

We are so excited to announce the 14th anniversary of Inside the Bottle for Outside the Box, and we cannot wait to celebrate with YOU! On Friday, September 16th, we will be hosting our annual fundraiser, ‘Inside the Bottle for Outside the Box’, at THE LUME in Newfields. This very special event will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. The one-of-a-kind Monet &Friends Alive, created by Australian-based Grande Experiences, will take guests on a journey back in time to when the face of European art was set to change forever. The exhibition will showcase the world of Impressionism across three main movements: Metropolitan, A Day in the Life. and EnPlein Air.

“Think outside the box” has been a phrase that most of us have been challenged with in our lives, whether it be professionally or personally, and many of us may even have adopted it as a mindset to live by. In 2008, this expression went from a way of thinking to a palpable practice when Outside the Box, Inc. was co-founded. OTB quickly became a premier service provider for adults with disabilities within the greater Indianapolis area, as well as the state of Indiana. With a focus on individualized growth, meaningful learning through a customized curriculum, peer-matched groups, and small participant to staff ratios, OTB’s day program is currently accessed by over 200 individuals and continuing to grow. Our employment services department allows for self-directed, tailored career coaching, and on-site training while Studio OTB enables creative and sensory-oriented learning and expression through an array of lessons and media. After 14 years, our doors have remained open and we have been able to grow responsibly and effectively due to the generosity of donors like you. We recognize the need to bloom in our agency’s mission and use our core values to inform future growth. A flower’s life changes and grows, just as an agency’s mission should. By living this year’s theme of “In Bloom,” we will be able to focus on amplifying what we already do in order to bring our much needed services to even more people. As we strive towards continued improvement, growth, and to be the best provider for adults with disabilities and their families, we need your help! Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us and for your consideration in becoming a part of our family through your kindness and generosity.

Outside the Box is a 501 (c) (3). All donations are tax deductible and all proceeds go directly back to Outside the Box. Your generous donation will continue to fund the programs that greatly enhance the lives of those we serve.
